dc.description	Avulsion cases reported in low percentage of dental accidents. When avulsion occurs, the permanence of the tooth in the socket, is forecasted for about 10 years after being replanted. This forecast depends on the circumstances under which the reimplantation was performed and the duration of the tooth outside the alveolus. In the case presented, the left central incisor avulsed because of a karate chop to a 14 year old and the tooth lasted about 60 minutes out of the mouth, the patient kept the avulsed tooth under the tongue for the journey from the school to the dental office, where here he received ? canal treatment, and it was replanted and splinted for 15 days. It has been followed for 23 years, after which, external resorption observed radiographically in the following broad, clinically the tooth has no mobility and there is slight color change in the crown.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Los casos de avulsión se reportan en bajo porcentaje dentro de los accidentes dentarios. Cuando se presenta avulsión, la permanencia del diente en el alveolo, se pronostica por aproximadamente 10 años después de haber sido reimplantado. Este pronóstico depende de las circunstancias en que se haya efectuado el reimplante y el tiempo de duración del diente fuera del alveolo. En el caso que se presenta, el incisivo central izquierdo se avulsionó a causa de un golpe de karate a un niño de 14 años de edad y el diente duró aproximadamente 60 minutos fuera de la boca, el paciente mantuvo el diente avulsionado bajo la lengua durante el trayecto de la academia al consultorio, donde se le hizo tratamiento del conducto, le fue reimplantado y se ferulizó durante 15 días. Se ha dado seguimiento durante 23 años, al cabo de los cuales, radiográficamente se observa reabsorción externa amplia en la raíz, clínicamente el diente no tiene movilidad y hay ligero cambio de color en la corona.	es_ES
