dc.description	The present writing does not pretend to be at all objective and generalizable, but on the contrary, it is desired to capture from the subjectivities of the person his relation to the illness seen as human experience. Through the story of life gives a sense to the experience, helping the nursing professional, to understand the woman who experiences breast cancer during the care process. Objective: to understand Ophelia's life experience and its relation to the disease. Methodology: it is a qualitative study of biographical-descriptive character, in which the informant's account acquires the greater importance. For the collection of the information, it is used the recording and the interview in depth through a main question and other of secondary character that allow to direct the conversation. Discussion and conclusions: when a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer, she is not ready to face the problem. The nursing professional should not be limited to providing information on the disease and health rights, but must include action at the existential level; Know how to approach and promote spiritual well-being in the person.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El presente escrito no pretende ser en lo absoluto objetivo y generalizable sino todo lo contrario, se desea captar a partir de las subjetividades de la persona su relación con la enfermedad vista como experiencia humana. A través del relato de vida se le otorga un sentido a la experiencia, ayudando al profesional de la enfermería, a comprender a la mujer que vivencia el cáncer de mama durante el proceso de cuidar. Objetivo: comprender la experiencia de vida de Ofelia y su relación con la enfermedad. Metodología: es un estudio cualitativo de carácter biográfico-descriptivo, en el que el relato del informante adquiere la mayor importancia. Para la recolección de la información se hace uso de la grabación y la entrevista a profundidad a través de una pregunta principal y otras de carácter secundario que permiten direccionar la conversación. Discusión y conclusiones: cuando una mujer es diagnósticada con cáncer de mama no esta preparada para enfrentar el problema. El profesional de la enfermería no se debe limitar unicamente a ofrecer información sobre la enfermedad y los derechos de salud, sino que debe incluir la actuación a nivel existencial; saber abordar y promover en la persona el bienestar espiritual.	es_ES
