dc.description	Communication between parents and children has a fundamental role in safer sexual behavior in adolescents, the aim was to analyze the efficacy of sexual communication in parents of adolescents. The Selfefficacy scale was used to talk to their children about sex to a nonrandom sample of 300 participants. The average rate of sexual communication self-efficacy was 55.64 (SD=22.14), and a relationship between educational level (rs=.213, p <.001) and monthly income (rs=.227, p<.001) was found. We suggest considering the results in the development of prevention programs on this topic.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La comunicación entre padres e hijos tiene un papel fundamental en la conducta sexual segura en los adolescentes, el objetivo fue analizar la autoeficacia de comunicación sexual en padres de adolescentes. Se aplicó la escala autoeficacia para hablar con sus hijos acerca de sexo a una muestra no probabilística de 300 participantes. El índice promedio de autoeficacia fue 55.64 (DE=22.14) y se encontró relación con el nivel de estudios (rs =.213, p<.001) e ingreso mensual (rs=.227, p<.001). Se sugiere considerar los resultados en la formulación de programas de prevención sobre este tópico.	es_ES
