dc.description	Alzheimer's disease is also called Alzheimer's dementia. It is the most common cause of dementia among people over 65 and probably the most chemically and genetically engineered pathology. It is a neurodegenerative disease manifested as a cognitive impairment and behavioral disorders that are characterized more frequently by progressive loss of memory and other mental abilities, a measure that the nerve cells (neurons) die and atrophy various Brain areas after diagnosis, the disease lasts for approximately ten years, but may vary depending on the severity of the damage and the care given to the patient.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El Alzheimer también denominado demencia senil de tipo Alzheimer, es la causa más frecuente de demencia entre las personas mayores de 65 años y, probablemente, la patología cerebral más estudiada desde el punto de vista químico y genético. Es una enfermedad neurodegenerativa que se manifiesta como un deterioro cognitivo y trastornos conductuales que se caracterizan, de forma más frecuente, por la pérdida progresiva de la memoria y de otras capacidades mentales, a medida que las células nerviosas (neuronas) mueren y se atrofian diversas zonas del cerebro. Después del diagnóstico, la enfermedad suele tener una duración media aproximada de diez años, aunque puede variar dependiendo de la severidad del daño y el cuidado que se dé al paciente.	es_ES
