dc.description	Undoubtedly, addressing the issue of poverty and the different efforts in Mexico to reduce it through social programs is truly interesting and at the same time complex. We will have to start by asking ourselves, "Who are the poor?" What are the circumstances that implies that poverty in 21st century society characterized by scientific and technological advances? What is the focus and coverage of Social development that the Mexican state has designed to alleviate poverty? In these approaches, the present article will be circumscribed, supported by different authors who approach the subject from different positions which allows to enrich their own.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Es indudable que abordar la temática de la pobreza y los diferentes esfuerzos en México para reducirla a través de programas sociales, resulta verdaderamente interesante y al mismo tiempo complejo. Tendremos que iniciar preguntándonos ¿Quiénes son los pobres?, ¿Cuales son las circunstancias que implica que no disminuya la pobreza en la sociedad del siglo XXI, caracterizada por los avances científicos y tecnológicos?, ¿Cuál es el enfoque y cobertura de los programas de desarrollo social que el estado mexicano ha diseñado para paliar la pobreza? En estos planteamientos habrá de circunscribirse el presente artículo, sustentado en distintos autores que abordan el tema desde diferentes posturas lo cual permite enriquecer la propia.	es_ES
