dc.description	The lack of growth of the maxilla is one of the main causes of the class III malocclusion, so the treatment of maxillary hypoplasia is important during childhood, because can avoid physical and psychological problems in infants that will affect his life. The appliance used to correct the maxillary hypoplasia was the facial mask, the intraoral traction was made by a Nance button with two hooks included for the elastic. This case report is a patient of 9 years of age with class III malocclusion caused by maxillary hypoplasia. After the correction of class III skeletal, was made the second phase of the treatment with braces Roth.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La falta de crecimiento del maxilar es una de las causas principales de la maloclusión de clase III, por lo que el tratamiento de la hipoplasia maxilar es importante durante la niñez, se pueden evitar problemas físicos y psicológicos en los infantes que afectarán toda su vida. El aparato ortopédico para corregir la hipoplasia maxilar se utilizo fue la máscara facial tipo Morales, la tracción intraoral se realizó con un botón de Nance con dos ganchos incluidos para detener los elásticos. El reporte de este caso es una paciente de 9 años de edad con maloclusión de clase III causada por hipoplasia maxilar. Después de la corrección de la clase III esquelética, se realizó la segunda fase del tratamiento con aparatología fija Roth.	es_ES
