dc.description	The goal of orthodontic treatment in an adult patient is primarily to improve their quality of life in every way, and these patients seek treatment involving the correction of malocclusion, improve function, aesthetics, and everything that relates to oral health , obtaining the maximum possible improvement. The diagnosis in the adult patient is somewhat different from commonly used. With age histological changes occur in the head and neck area of the patient produced by maturation, in women happens at about age 16 and men and around 18.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El objetivo del tratamiento de ortodoncia en un paciente adulto es principalmente mejorar su calidad de vida en todos los sentidos, y estos pacientes buscan un tratamiento que implique la corrección de la maloclusión, mejorar la función, estética, y todo lo que refiere a la salud bucodental, obteniendo las máximas mejorías posibles. El diagnóstico en el paciente adulto es algo diferente del comúnmente utilizado. Con la edad tienen lugar cambios histológicos en el área de cabeza y cuello del paciente producido por la maduración que en la mujer sucede aproximadamente a los 16 años y en el varón alrededor de los 18.	es_ES
