dc.description	Attacks, such as port scans, DDoS and worms, threaten the functionality and reliability of IP networks. Early and accurate detection is crucial to mitigate their impact. We use the Method of Remaining Elements (MRE) to detect anomalies based on the characterization of traffic features through a proportional uncertainty measure. MRE has the functionality and performance to detect abnormal behavior and serve as the foundation for next generation network intrusion detection systems.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Los ataques, como escaneos de puertos, DDoS y gusanos, amenazan la funcionalidad y confiabilidad de las redes IP. La detección temprana y precisa es crucial para mitigar su impacto. Utilizamos el Método de los Elementos Restantes (MRE) para detectar anomalías basadas en la caracterización de características de tráfico a través de una medida de incertidumbre proporcional. MRE tiene la funcionalidad y el rendimiento para detectar el comportamiento anormal y servir como la base para la próxima generación de sistemas de detección de intrusos de red.	es_ES
