dc.description	The studies analysed address different aspects of orthodontics. The first compares palatal bone thickness in men and women for the placement of mini-implants, finding that men have a greater thickness. The second evaluates the correlation between ANB and Wits analyses for the diagnosis of skeletal class, concluding that there are differences between both methods and their joint use is recommended. The third bibliographic review analyses the changes in bacterial flora caused by orthodontic appliances, pointing out an increase in microbial plaque and its possible relationship with gingival problems.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Las investigaciones analizadas abordan distintos aspectos de la ortodoncia. La primera compara el grosor óseo palatino en hombres y mujeres para la colocación de mini-implantes, encontrando que los hombres presentan un grosor mayor. La segunda evalúa la correlación entre los análisis ANB y Wits para el diagnóstico de la clase esqueletal, concluyendo que existen diferencias entre ambos métodos y se recomienda su uso conjunto. La tercera revisión bibliográfica analiza los cambios en la flora bacteriana causados por la aparatología ortodóncica, señalando un aumento en la placa microbiana y su posible relación con problemas gingivales.	es_ES
