Resumen:

En este artículo se describe una nueva especie de Karnyothrips cercana a K. flavipes. Se diferencia de esta última en la posición de los estiletes maxilares, la longitud de las setas B1 y B3 del IX tergo abdominal, el ala anterior fuertemente adelgazada en la sección media y la longitud del tubo y de las setas anales.

Descripción:

In this paper, we describe a new species of Karnyothrips closely related to K. flavipes. It differs from the latter species in the position of the maxillary stylets, the length of the setae B1 and B3 of abdominal segment IX, the very narrow medial section of the forewing and the length of the tube and the anal setae.
