dc.description	It is considered premature loss of a primary tooth when this is out before the time of natural exfoliation and there are many factors which may be cause of lost prematurely: dental caries, which is the most common root atypical factor, dentoalveolar trauma, periodontal problems, resorptions , congenital disorders and iatrogenic or incompetence for some dental treatment. It has demonstrated the importance of primary tooth for the future development of the permanent dentition, so the premature loss of a primary tooth has a negative influence on the optimal development of the stomatognathic system to change from an early age the craniofacial morphology, thereby altering the development of functional matrix that will be reflected in malocclusions. Clinich y Healy, they affirm in their study that the malocclusion depends on the premature loss of temporal molar and that will depend of the tooth and the existing features when premature loss.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El uso terapéutico del láser en la práctica de la ortodoncia existe desde hace varios años, sin embargo, aún con investigaciones publicadas, se sigue cuestionando las ventajas que el mismo podría darnos a los odontólogos, ortodoncistas y a los pacientes que son sometidos a irradiaciones controladas de láser en diversas situaciones como el manejo de tejidos blandos en cirugías menores, cementado y descementado de brackets, aceleración de movimiento ortodóncico, control del dolor, entre otras. En esta revisión de la literatura se aborda desde los inicios del uso terapéutico de láser, así como sus características, usos y ventajas del láser en la práctica en el consultorio dental.	es_ES
