dc.description	From the Sociology of Childhood a theoretical framework is constructed that helps to understand the social construction of childhood as a permanent category of the social system and as a social group. Historically, girls and boys have been seen as immature beings, in transition, in need, and in need. of protection and care. dc.description.abstract	Desde la Sociología de la Infancia se construye un marco teórico que ayuda a entender la construcción social de la infancia como una categoría permanente del sistema social y como un grupo social. Históricamente, las niñas y los niños han sido vistos como seres inmaduros, en etapa de transición, con necesidad de protección y cuidado. Esta responsabilidad recae en los padres, en correspondencia al derecho de propiedad que ellos ejercen sobre los menores, que deben estar en la escuela o en la casa, lugares físicos asignados para su socialización, donde es posible transmitirles conocimientos y habilidades que los conviertan en adultos.	es_ES
