dc.description Vanilla is native to Tropical America and the only orchid that produces a consumable essence called vanillin; but, its production is reduced and threatened due to the attacks of phytopathogenic microorganisms. Fusarium oxysporum because it is considered the main fungus causing diseases in the crop and due to the diversity of special forms that have evolved, it is necessary to deepen more in its identification and the level of damage it causes in this species. The objective of this study was to determine the morphological, molecular and pathogenic variability of Fusarium sp. Associated with Vanilla sp. of the state of Nayarit, Mexico. es_ES
dc.description.abstract La vainilla es originaria de América Tropical y la única orquídea que produce una esencia consumible llamada vainillina; pero, su producción es mermada y amenazada debido a los ataques de microorganismos fitopatógenos. Fusarium oxysporum por ser considerado el principal hongo causante de enfermedades en el cultivo y por la diversidad de formas especiales que ha evolucionado, es necesario profundizar más en su identificación y el nivel de daño que ocasiona en esta especie. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la variabilidad morfológica, molecular y patogénica de Fusarium sp.Asociado a pudrición de Vanilla sp. del estado de Nayarit, México. es_ES
