dc.description	The interest that motivated this investigation is the absence of absolute information of the averages and dental longitudinal indexes among the Yucatecan population. In the existing documentation obtained from experts in the area, figures of studies carried out in vitro and in population groups of phenotypology different from that of the Yucatecan inhabitants are inferred. The intention of this study was to be able to relate the anthropometric characteristics of a group of patients, with the length of the root canal of their teeth, as well as to be able to obtain indices and averages that can be used as an element of work when performing clinical practice of conduct therapy. The present descriptive, cross-sectional, observational and prospective study was carried out through a probabilistic sample of the population of patients who, in an average of 5,000 per year, come for their dental attention to the Faculty of Dentistry of the Autonomous University of Yucatan, of which 20% is referred to the Endodontics II clinics.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El interés que motivó esta investigación es la ausencia de información absoluta de los promedios e indices longitudinales dentales entre la población yucateca. En la documentación existente obtenida de expertos en el área se infieren cifras de estudios realizados in vitro y en grupos poblacionales de fenotipología diferente de la de los pobladores yucatecos. La intención de este estudio, fue la de poder relacionar las características antropométricas de un grupo de pacientes, con la longitud del conducto radicular de sus dientes, así como de poder obtener índices y promedios que puedan utilizarse como elemento de trabajo al realizar la practica clínica de conductoterapia. El presente estudio de tipo descriptivo, transversal, observacional y prospectivo, fue realizado a través de una muestra probabilística de la población de pacientes que en un promedio de 5,000 por año, acuden para su atención dental a la Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, del total de los cuales el 20% es referido a las clínicas de Endodoncia II.	es_ES
