dc.description	To repeat the existence of the crisis of the Social Sciences as a crisis of the paradigms of modernity is almost a commonplace. It is not, on the other hand, when that crisis refers to the ways of thinking in today's society, because if the founding paradigm of the Social Sciences is on the way to being replaced, there is still no social science that allows us to think of the social in a different way than modernity thinks. In this way, we are trapped in the impossibility of continuing to think through the previous social science and, at the same time, in the need to think, explain and understand today's world. With what social science do we think contemporary society? The question is highly pertinent because universities have the role of training social scientists capable of interpreting social events. Hence the importance of asking ourselves about social thought.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Repetir la existencia de crisis de las Ciencias Sociales como crisis de los paradigmas de la modernidad es ya casi un lugar común. No lo es, en cambio, cuando esa crisis se refiere a los modos de pensar la sociedad actual, porque si el paradigma fundante de las Ciencias Sociales está en vías de ser sustituido, todavía no se tiene una ciencia social que permita pensar lo social de manera diferente a como lo piensa la modernidad. De esta manera, estamos atrapados en la imposibilidad de seguir pensando a través de la ciencia social anterior y, al mismo tiempo, en la necesidad de pensar, explicar y comprender, el mundo actual. ¿Con qué ciencia social pensamos la sociedad contemporánea? La pregunta es de alta pertinencia porque las universidades tienen el papel de formar científicos sociales capaces de interpretar los acontecimientos sociales. De ahí la importancia de preguntarnos sobre el pensamiento social.	es_ES
