dc.description El Estero "El Salado" is one of the few areas that has an important mangrove cover (around 169 hectares), within the Bay of Banderas. However, because it is located within the city of Puerto Vallarta, it is subject to strong pressures to incorporate it into the growth of the city; that occurs in a disorderly manner. Due to the importance of the mangrove ecosystems of the world and Mexico, it is necessary before proposing the development of activities in the estuary area. Establish the ecological value of another of the Bay of Banderas, which will be obtained through the analysis of its hydrological, structure, defoliation, decomposition and dynamics of mangrove detritus, and material flows between the estuary and the Bay. es_ES
dc.description.abstract El Estero "El Salado", es una de las pocas zonas que presenta una importante cobertura de manglar (alrededor de 169 hectáreas), dentro de la Bahía de Banderas. Sin embargo, debido ya que se encuentra dentro de la ciudad de Puerto Vallarta, está sujeto a fuertes presiones para incorporarlo al crecimiento de la ciudad; que se da de manera desordenada. Por la importancia de los ecosistemas de manglar el mundo y México es necesario, antes de proponer el desarrollo de actividades en la zona del estero. Establecer su valor ecológico de otro de la Bahía de Banderas, que se obtendrá mediante el análisis de su hidrológica, estructura, defoliación, descomposición y dinámica del detritus del manglar, y los flujos de materiales entre el estero y la Bahía. es_ES
