dc.description Studies on phenology and foliar and floral development of S. reginae are limited, therefore, the objective of the work was to identify the agronomic and abiotic factors that affect the phenology and development of Strelitzia reginae Aiton during three evaluation cycles in two localities of Nayarit. The experiments were established in El Ahuacate municipality of Tepic and in the Academic Unit of Agriculture municipality of Xalisco, Nayarit in September-December 2011, January-April and May-August 2012. The experimental design was random blocks with five repetitions and treatments factorial 2 ^ 3. The factors evaluated were agronomic practices such as pruning and organic fertilization, inorganic alone and combined, as well as the relationship with abiotic factors. The sources of fertilization and dosage were derived from the soil analysis of each locality. In the UAA during the first cycle, the agronomic factors in leaf development showed significant interaction in leaf width and leaf area and, in the second leaf width cycle. es_ES
dc.description.abstract Estudios sobre fenología y desarrollo foliar y floral de S. reginae son limitados, por ello, el objetivo del trabajo fue identificar los factores agronómicos y abióticos que afectan la fenología y desarrollo de Strelitzia reginae Aiton durante tres ciclos de evaluación en dos localidades de Nayarit. Los experimentos se establecieron en El Ahuacate municipio de Tepic y en la Unidad Académica de Agricultura municipio de Xalisco, Nayarit en septiembre-diciembre 2011, enero-abril y mayo-agosto 2012. El diseño experimental fue bloques al azar con cinco repeticiones y de tratamientos factorial 2^3. Los factores evaluados fueron prácticas agronómicas como poda y fertilización orgánica, inorgánicas solas y combinadas, así como la relación con factores abióticos. Las fuentes de fertilización y dosis se derivaron del análisis del suelo de cada localidad. En la UAA durante el primer ciclo, los factores agronómicos en el desarrollo foliar mostraron interacción significativa en ancho de hoja y área foliar y, en el segundo ciclo en ancho de hoja. es_ES
