dc.description	At the dawn of the 21st century, tourism activity in Mexico is an important generator of foreign exchange, after oil, manufacturing and maquiladora sales. In 1996, revenues amounted to 6,894 million dollars. As soon as I used Branch 63 (restaurants and hotels) for the same year, I generated 5,730 million jobs, which, 1,637 million were direct and the rest indirect. It is necessary to reflect on this Branch, for the real comparative advantages and the potential competitive advantages, which it offers in general to the country and in particular to Nayarit. Likewise, the importance of this activity lies in the fact that it can become a pivot for the economic development of the country and of the same state, immersed more and more in a globalized world, but also subject to the decisions of international financial organizations.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	En los albores del siglo XXl la actividad turística en México es una importante generadora de divisas, después de las ventas por petroleo, manufacturas y maquiladoras. En 1996 los ingresos ascendieron a 6,894 millones de dolares. En cuanto empleo la Rama 63 (restaurantes y hoteles) para el mismo año genero 5.730 millones de empleos, de los cuales, 1.637 millones fueron directos y el resto indirectos. Se hace necesario reflexionar sobre esta Rama, por las ventajas comparativas reales y las ventajas competitivas potenciales, que ofrece en general al país y en particular a Nayarit. Asimismo la importancia de esta actividad radica en que puede convertirse en un pivote para el desarrollo económico del país y del mismo estado, inmersos cada día más en un mundo globalizado, pero además supeditados a las decisiones de los organismos financieros internacionales.	es_ES
