dc.description	In the present work, the theme of participatory democracy, also known as citizen participation, is presented, considering it necessary to expose in the first chapter the conceptual theoretical framework about the generic theme: democracy, to later visualize representative democracy in crisis and participatory democracy. The second chapter deals with participatory democracy within the framework of comparative law, with emphasis on experiences in Europe within the spectrum of the European Union and particularly in Spain and France. It also focuses the vision of the topic in question in America, concretely in three countries of democratic tradition to know: United States, Brazil and Chile.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	En el presente trabajo se expone el tema de la democracia participativa, conocida también como participación ciudadana, estimando necesario exponer en el primer capitulo el marco teórico conceptual acerca del tema genérico: la democracia, para posteriormente visualizar la democracia representativa en crisis y la democracia participativa. En el segundo capitulo se aborda el tema de la democracia participativa en el marco del derecho comparado, poniendo énfasis en las experiencias en Europa dentro del espectro de la Unión Europea y particularmente en España y Francia. Asimismo se enfoca la visión del tópico en cuestión en América, concretamente en tres países de tradición democrática a saber: Estados Unidos, Brasil y Chile.	es_ES
