| Resumen : | ¿Que se pierde cuando se extingue una lengua? Alrededor del mundo existen diferentes grupos culturales, cada uno con una manera de ver y de pensaren el mundo; la lengua constituye un elemento fundamental de esos grupos culturales, pues esta les da una voz única. Gracias ala lengua podemos saber cosas sobre nuestros antepasados, como sus ideologías, sus saberes, sus hazañas, su manera de vivir, su forma de organización, la forma de ver el mundo y cómo se relacionaban con él. Esto a través de las historias, canciones, leyendas que de forma oral en muchas culturas se transmite de generación en generación. |
| Descripción : | What is lost when a language is extinguished? Around the world there are different cultural groups, each with a way of seeing and thinking about the world; Language is a fundamental element of these cultural groups, because it gives them a unique voice. Thanks to the language we can know things about our ancestors, such as their ideologies, their knowledge, their deeds, their way of living, their form of organization, the way they see the world and how they relate to it. This through stories, songs, legends that orally in many cultures is transmitted from generation to generation. |
