Resumen : El presente estudio consiste en un análisis de la Educación Superior en la región Norte del estado Nayarit. El principal objetivo es analizar la pertinencia del nivel superior en dicha zona, que comprende los municipios de Acaponeta, Rosamorada, Ruíz, San Bias, Santiago Ixcuintla, Tecuala y Tuxpan. Al respecto, Martuscelli y Martinez (2000) señalan que la pertinencia ·se refiere al grado de correspondencia que debe existir entre las necesidades sociales e individuales que se pretende satisfacer con la educación superior y lo que realmente se llega a alcanzar" (Martuscelli y Martinez, 2000:2). Se toma como base esta idea para diagnosticar la pertinencia de la educación superior en la región norte.
Descripción : The present study consists of an analysis of Higher Education in the North region of the state of Nayarit. The main objective is to analyze the relevance of the higher level in this area, which includes the municipalities of Acaponeta, Rosamorada, Ruíz, San Bias, Santiago Ixcuintla, Tecuala and Tuxpan. In this regard, Martuscelli and Martinez (2000) point out that the relevance refers to the degree of correspondence that must exist between the social and individual needs that are intended to satisfy higher education and what is actually achieved "(Martuscelli y Martinez , 2000: 2). This idea is taken as a basis to diagnose the relevance of higher education in the northern region.
