dc.description.abstractEl índice de Pont fue hecho en población Francesa, es utilizado para calcular el tamaño transversal de las arcadas dentales, se aplica una fórmula basada en la suma mesiodistal de incisivos maxilares, el resultado es multiplicado por 100 y dividido en la zona interpremolar entre 80 y en la zona intermolar entre 64. Evaluar la efectividad de las medidas del índice de Pont para los valores obtenidos de los modelos de estudio de pacientes que se atienden en la Especialidad de Ortodoncia de la Unidad Académica de Odontología de la Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit.es_ES
