The science founded by Descartes opposed the body and its products. Rather than oppose it, it banishes it: the body does not participate in the act of knowing. Minerva arose from a Zeus headache. As the goddess of wisdom, it could only come from the upper part of the body. The head, so far from the earth, tends towards the sky, the place of the gods.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl primer conocimiento es el del cuerpo y, sin embargo, en la tradición del conocimiento científico el cuerpo se convirtió en el primer obstáculo epistemológico. La ciencia fundada por Descartes se opuso al cuerpo y sus productos. Más que oponerse, lo destierra: el cuerpo no participa en el acto de conocer. Minerva surgió de un dolor de cabeza de Zeus. Como diosa de la sabiduría, sólo podía provenir de la parte superior del cuerpo. La cabeza, tan alejada de la tierra, tiende hacia el cielo, el lugar de los dioses.es_ES
